It’s been around for centuries and used in a variety of ways. It’s been used in the beauty industry for that lily white skin. It’s powerful metallic essence was used to help treat venereal disease and parasite infestation. It was put into tonics to combat ailments of all kinds.
But when used as a poison, it can kill fast or it can kill slow.
But no matter how long it takes for death to rescue the victim, it is a most brutal and unforgiving way to perish, and it has long been known to be the death sentence drug of choice.
Arsenic.

Sadly, more than 65,000 people died along the way, making that one grave after another across the over 2,000 miles. The Oregon Trail is sometimes referred to as the Longest Graveyard in America.
